We had an unforgettable stay at Franca and Stefan's. The property is beautiful, quiet, very well maintained and the common areas (swimming pool, parking) are well designed. The accommodation is clean, well decorated and with everything you need. Our hosts were perfect, attentive but not invasive, good advice, always available. The location is perfect for visiting Tuscany, 20 minutes from San Gimignano, 50 minutes from Siena, 75 minutes from Pisa, Livorno, Florence and the sea. We were really in love with this place and this Italian mother and her son! In a place full of charm, good for the soul, where you feel good. Thank you very much again Franca and Stefan, the ten days we spent with you were fantastic. The look on my heart and I hope we will see each other again soon!

We stayed here for 6 days. Great family atmosphere. We were greeted with a bottle of Chianti, which was incredibly good. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could wish for. Everything was super clean. We felt completely at home. Good location for trips to Tuscany. Clearly recommended.

This is exactly the right place to unwind. Total peace and quiet and friendly hosts. Here you can get to know real Tuscan cuisine. Of course, there is plenty of wine to go with it.

Perfect for disconnecting the brain from everything, the wine produced is worthy

We spent two wonderful weeks at this wonderful winery. Franca and Stefan together are the soul of this house. Always approachable, very friendly and extremely helpful. There was nothing to complain about in our holiday apartment, everything was clean and hospitable. There were two communal meals where all the holiday guests got to know each other. We visited the wine cellar and tried the great wines. And we don't want to forget the wonderful swimming pool either. Best wishes, Ute and Hannes

It is truly difficult to describe the truly exceptional quality of the wines of this family-run company... where through the wines it produces you can taste the love for the countryside.

You "pass" into another dimension, the voice of nature silently "screams" all its wild splendor, like a breath the wind carries you, you live everything sweetly..... Being in transit we "discovered" this pearl, we were "hunting" for excellent wines and we were satisfied in every way by the competent cordiality of the lady who explained to us the passion and love of their work to obtain their "jewels",..... We will return hoping to have the opportunity to stay in "paradise"...... EXCELLENT wines

We spent a wonderful week at Pietralta at the end of June. Our apartment was in a very old stone refurbished farmhouse in a rustic but modern apartment. Our small private patio overlooked the countryside spotted with vineyards and olive trees. There were large clumps of sage and rosemary planted on the edge of the patio, so the air was scented with herbal smells. We enjoyed sitting there sipping on wines from their vineyards while watching the sun set. This was a perfect home base to explore nearby Tuscan hill towns. During our stay we had a cooking lesson with a dear friend of Franka, Arcangela (spoke only Italian). She had a farm near where we were staying. Everything we cooked was fresh from her farm that day. She gathered porcini mushrooms from the forest and killed and dressed one of her rabbits. We made focaccia; tagliatelle from farina flour; fried zucchini and zucchini blossoms; we battered and fried the rabbit; tiramisu for dessert. We ate our feast at a long table outside overlooking the Tuscan hills while the sun set with her family and friends. Couldn't understand a word, but lots of laughter and good times . Thank you Franka and Stefan, for a wonderful experience and treating us like family.

Very good wines. Tasting of wines, cheeses and typical charcuterie for 15Eur. The owners are super nice!

At the trip across Tuscany, by a chance we discovered this remote yet beautiful place. 2km in our small rented car down the serpentine road was a pleasure since the surroundings were just a charm. We were quickly greeted by the young fellow who treated us with some lovely wine and friendly chat. Although we never intended to stay for days, we grabbed some wine on the go and we are still enjoying the nicest young bianco as I write it days later.. Do it and enjoy it is my message... Petty we never bought any oil but hey you can't have it all. Enjoy

Wonderfully friendly owners, fantastic wine, great view! A relaxing holiday! And all the cities of Tuscany are nearby! Our holiday apartment Deutzia is 70m2 for two people and is therefore more than generously designed. Each apartment has a private, secluded seating area. Standard of furnishings comparable to holiday apartments in Switzerland. Regarding access: 1.8 km long gravel road, well signposted at the beginning. I have experienced much worse and, above all, longer roads in Tuscany. In winter with snow and rain it might be dangerous, but now in summer it is just dusty.
