Four generations of winemaking at Pietraserena
At Pietraserena, four generations of the Arrigoni family have been making the best Italian wines from their vineyards in Tuscany and Liguria. If you fancy superior Italian wines, you will find DOC labels like Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, IGT Toscana, and Vin Santo del Chianti DOC, along with other sparkling and rose wines of immense quality. All the wines made by the company are from estate-grown grapes at their winery.
Great location of the winery
The Pietraserena estate is in the San Gimignano region and used to be around 7 hectares. Currently, it extends upto 40 hectares with 30 of vineyards and the rest covered by olive groves. The first grape variety grown here was Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the first wine in Italy to get the DOC certification. Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah are the other grapes grown here for their red, white, rose, sparkling, and dessert wines.
Wines representing the land
The wines represent the essence of their lives and who they are. A story written about much hard work and patience, since all the products are made by hand. Each vineyard here has its own name and produces a single wine. These wines are then skilfully blended to make their trademark wine bottles. The Tuscan hills of San Gimignano are beautiful, and the place is perfect for wine lovers to enjoy nature along with some great wines. The wines feature unmatched blends that make them unique and loved by people.
