At Podere Cigli the wine making tradition has been passed down through generations of family wine makers. The family knowledge of excellent wine making was brought to Tuscany from Alcamo. Today the Podere Cigli farm is perfectly located in the Tuscany wine region overlooking Bolgheri in front of the magnificent Pia de Tolomei Castle. The wines of Podere Cigli are all stamped with the estate’s excellent mark of quality. The wine making methods used follow the family traditions that have spanned generations and pay tribute to the vines and the terroir. All of the estate wines are produced following strictly organic principles, with a focus on quality instead of quantity.

Beautiful Estates of Podere Cigli

The vineyards of Podere Cigli are located on the beautiful slopes of Massa Marittima in an area where wines are a strong part of the local history. The DOC includes various native vines including Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Vermentino and Malvasia as well as the international varietals of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Viognier. Along with wines, a range of other products are produced at Podere Cigli such as grappa, raisins, oils and legumes, all of which are made to meet the highest quality standards. The exceptional red wines of Podere Cigli which should not be missed are the Campo Maria, the Poggiocrocco and the Tuscan Reds. The wonderful white wines to be enjoyed include the Tresia, the Vermentino and the Sauvignon. For Rose lovers, the Podere Cigli Roselvo Rose is a phenomenal with a freshness and fruitiness that makes it a pleasure to drink.
