Experience Heartfelt Italian Hospitality and Exquisite Wines
Stunning Views at Riparbella Winery
Located in the picturesque Maremma region of southern Tuscany, Podere Riparbella is just 70 kilometers southwest of Florence and 40 kilometers southeast of Pisa. The winery offers breathtaking views of the Elba and Corsica mountains, along with glimpses of Follonica Bay on clear days. Surrounded by 46 acres of lush woodland and farmland, the estate is cultivated according to organic practices. Visitors can stroll through rows of artichokes, vibrant vegetable and fruit gardens, and herb beds featuring rare varieties, all while admiring the vineyards that gracefully slope downhill.
Warm Hospitality Awaits
Podere Riparbella is run by a passionate couple, Veronica Malzacher and Christian Prohaska, who bring a wealth of experience to their winemaking venture. Veronica has a rich background in hospitality, having established a pasta production company and a sales business for Italian specialties in Switzerland. Christian, an architect with a focus on renovating homes and hotels, has also studied winegrowing and enology extensively. Their combined expertise creates a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Exceptional Wine Tastings
Since 1993, the vineyards at Podere Riparbella have been cultivated organically, and the farmhouse has been thoughtfully renovated to accommodate guests. The winery produces wines from the Costa Toscana appellation, featuring grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Nero, and Vermentino. These grapes are carefully processed in their cellar to create high-quality red and white wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
With new vineyards added in 1995 and accommodations available since 1997, Podere Riparbella offers a delightful experience for wine lovers and travelers alike. Come and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany while savoring exceptional wines crafted with care.
