Quinta da Fonte Souto marks the Symington family’s first venture outside the Douro Valley, nestled in the stunning landscape of Portalegre in Alto Alentejo. With a rich history of 135 years in winemaking, our family has cultivated a legacy across five generations.

Spanning 207 hectares, 43 of which are dedicated to vineyards, the estate is also home to lush chestnut groves, which inspired the name ‘Souto.’ Additionally, 100 hectares are covered in forest, with one-third featuring the iconic cork oak trees that are synonymous with the Alentejo region.

Alentejo que nunca desilude...parte II! Deixou saudades e sim, voltámos! Voltamos com um Sunset, com um ambiente acolhedor, uma brisa que nos abraçava e aquelas cores quentes...aquelas cores que só o Alentejo conhece e nos arrebata e nos faz sentir parte de algo genuíno e tão nosso. All in all, our children received Guia Luís, who was so sad that he had a colhedor...sim, the value of the pen was all that, not desiludiu, estamos em casa. Até yes!
