Founded in 1997, Quinta da Plansel is the realization of Dorina Lindemann's passion for winemaking, rooted in her family's legacy. Dorina, the daughter of renowned oenologist Jorge Bohm, moved from Germany to Portugal with her husband, Thomas Lindemann, to rejuvenate existing vineyards. With a family history in viticulture dating back to 1828, Dorina brings a wealth of knowledge and tradition to the winery.
The exceptional quality of Quinta da Plansel's wines is attributed to the ideal growing conditions found in Alentejo. Here, grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, and Aragonez thrive in Mediterranean climates, benefiting from soils rich in gneisses and diorite. The vineyards, gently sloping to the south, provide optimal sunlight and drainage, allowing the grapes to reach their full potential.
Quinta da Plansel employs modern winemaking techniques to enhance the flavor and aroma of its wines. Our facilities include temperature-controlled cellars, stainless steel tanks, and open barrels for maceration. This careful approach ensures that each wine captures the essence of our unique terroir, resulting in a product that wine lovers can truly appreciate.

Write a reviewWe visited this week and for the first time at Quinta da Plansel, this is because we have already drunk two red and white wines for more than one time, the first time we have tried to taste and taste these wines was the Ciborro restaurant in the Alentejana vila with the same name and location on the famous two national road, and more Recently there is restaurant A Ribeira em Montemor or Novo bem next to Quinta. So we decided to make a visit and buy some red and white wine that has great quality at a good and fair price. Surrounding location with parking facilities and very pleasant with good areas. MUST visit! The BEST wine tour we had in Portugal. Our guide Raquel was so professional and kind, she made our day! The winery is led by women makes it even more special. Oh, and the wine is amazing! Hurry up and book a place!
