Casa Elvas holds a special place in my heart after my recent visit, and it's all thanks to Ana and Helena. Their passion for wine making transformed my learning journey into a truly memorable experience. Their warm welcome and genuine interest in sharing their knowledge made me feel like part of their winemaking family. I can't wait to return for more heartwarming conversations and of course, to try again their exquisite wine. Highly recommended.

Depois de uma visita pela adega com uma explicação fantástica acabámos com uma prova de vinhos que foi ao encontro do nosso gosto. An Ana depois de conversar connosco escolheu os vinhos que eram sem dúvida "a nossa cara". Empresa familiar, todos a trabalhar no dia , mas com um sentido de inovação extraordinário! We loved visiting Casa Relvas! The visit and the tasting are amazing and our guide, Ana, made the experience even more special. She is very knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly. Definitely would recommend.

Atendimento e simpatia inexcedíveis! Aquilo que não pôde ser um programa de vindimas normal (porque a maturação da uva assim não quis), transformou-se numa experiência igualmente única, com conversas intermináveis sobre vinhos, história e processesos.

Wine tourism

A great wine tasting For some reason finding a wine tour from Evora is non-existent. Luckily this place is a short taxi ride away from the town and offer a great experience. Things are a little different due to Covid-19, however they have adapted. We did a 5wine tasting and had a mini tour of some areas we were allowed to enter. The wines were delicious and explanation of them along with the origins of the vineyard really interesting. I'd definitely reccomended this place

Of the 50+ winery visits we’ve done so far, this exceeded by far any of the others. Ana’s warm welcome (not only to us but to our young kids), her generous time explaining the history, the varieties of wines and the production process while we toured the facility was beyond anything we expected. We were simply in awe of how great the visit went. To top it off, we had a delicious tasting of some of the wines paired with local tapas, it was delicious and we now will be looking for these wines back home to share them with our friends and family ! If you’re in the Alentejo, be sure to stop here! Thank you again for your time and allthe useful recommendations for the rest of trip touring Portugal !

We enjoyed every bits of the visit of this factory which produce 6 million bottles a year. We were lucky to have a great guide just for the two of us. We tried the grape juice of syrah just pressed. It was the best grape juice I ever tasted. We saw stainless steel tanks, oak barrels, and the machine used gor bottling the wine. We tasted a wine being age in oak and then 4 wines (rosé, white and two). The wine were very good and the guide clearly knows his stuff. For 10€, it was a very nice experience !

Herdade de São Miguel, a full-bodied and fruity wine, to be drunk preferably in the company of close friends, I am very jealous of this wine, it makes me feel in my Alentejo. Very good nectar! I write in Italian, but I wish this nectar was exported, the world emigrant appreciator, would enjoy the land between them.

There was a bit of initial disorganization due to not finding the reserve. The person who guided us on the tour was charming but not an expert. We still enjoyed the visit and the tasting. I think they make wines with a very good value.
