Every plate, served on Richard Ginori porcelain, showcased the finest seasonal ingredients, with a special highlight being Laudemio extra virgin olive oil from Tenuta Santedame—its vibrant green color and intense aroma perfectly complemented the fresh bread and simple yet exquisite flavors. Following lunch, Camilla led us through a private wine tasting, where her passion and deep knowledge of Ruffino’s heritage made the experience truly special. The underground winery was a fascinating part of the journey—barrels resting beneath ancient stone walls, the scent of French oak filling the air, and the stories behind each vintage creating an unforgettable atmosphere. A truly impressive vine estate with a beautifully designed interior and exterior. The guided wine cellar tour and tasting were both fascinating and highly professional. Tenuta Ruffino in Poggio Casciano is truly a place where you can find peace and tranquility. The experiences we had and the stay were a real surprise. The dinner at the restaurant was simply fantastic and the room we stayed in was beautiful. The wine cellar is beautiful! We felt very well and can't wait to come back. Congratulations to all the staff for their kindness and helpfulness in such a lovely place.

had a fantastic wine tour experience here , our tour guide was very fun you could see his passion and knowledge just radiated off of him the wines we tasted were delicious our group had too much fun here exploring the beautiful estate taking pictures in the garden just really soaking it all in . we bought a case of wine shipped back to us in the states which we are very excited to receive in the next 2 days !

The Poggio Casciano estate is the operational estate for visits and tastings of Ruffino, the location is surrounded by greenery and is only 15km from Florence. The tastings are well organized and the cellar is beautiful to see.

Their wonderful Agriresort, the Le Tre Rane restaurant and the Bottega del Vino will involve you 360 ° and before leaving in the Shop you can find their excellences to take with you.

We were on our way to Rome and really wanted to visit the winery to finally get our favorite wine again. The staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. The wines are excellent. The location is a bit hidden but fantastic. We will definitely come back.

We went on a guided tour with a great wine tasting. Although we hadn't made a reservation in advance, we were able to attend spontaneously! The winery is in excellent condition without missing its old charm. It's very easy to get to by car from Florence, but it's surprisingly quiet and secluded. I recommend everyone to stop by for a visit!

Poggio Casciano is a villa in a wonderful location just a stone's throw from Florence but immersed in the hills cultivated with olive trees and vines. The estate offers various activities, unmissable - obviously - the wine tasting with a visit to the beautiful cellars but above all do not miss the events organized in the summer (the outdoor cinema is fantastic) and the restaurant always open. Attention to seasonality, products from local companies and vegetarian proposals characterize the gastronomic offer always combined with an excellent wine of the estates. Finally ... try the amaro! Truly delicious and aromatic.

Great property and we were able to watch the grape processing. We also bought some very tasty wine.

2 very good experiences at Ruffino (visit/tasting and open-air cinema evening). In summary: great sense of service and quality. 1) visit and tasting: detailed visit, very friendly guide, 4 emblematic Ruffino wines (and their olive oil) served at the table in an air-conditioned lounge each in their glass, accompanied by a well-stocked and excellent quality plate of cheese and cold cuts. After guiding us through the tastings, the guide let us chat among ourselves while we finished our tasting quietly. :-) 2) evening visit/picnic/cinema. Welcome in the garden with a glass of sparkling rosé. Then visit of the cellar (shortened version of the more specific one in the morning -normal-) followed by a very tasty picnic (starter, main course, dessert) accompanied by their new rosé (Acqua di Venus) served at will. The open-air screening is accompanied by a cone of salted popcorn and the possibility of having a little more rosé.

Unbeatable hospitality! I had the great pleasure of spending a night in the beautiful Relais. From the very first moment, everyone greeted me so warmly as if I were the only one in the world. The view is fantastic, the wine is excellent. The beds are super comfortable and our bathroom was top notch. The cleanliness was superb! But the hospitality of Sara, Francesco and Greta topped them all! Grazie mille da vero! Ci rivediamo presto senz' altro!!
