A Historical Area

The incredible Santantoni winery is located in the wonderful historical area of Valdobbiadene DOCG. The winery is owned and run by the Follador family members who have been cultivating vineyards on the land for three generations. Santantoni first opened its doors in 1920 who built the winery after the war, giving life to the land again.

Respect For The Environment

The management of the vines iat Santantoni is done completely by hand, allowing the family to feed their love back into the wines that they produce. All wine making practices at the winery are focussed on safeguarding the biodiversity of the area and respecting the local environment. As far as possible only natural products are used in the treatment of the vines. The Santantoni wine making processes are a tribute to the traditions of the region, from the harvesting of the grapes to the pressing process in the cellar. The wines of Santantoni are unfiltered, reducing the sulphites and making them as natural as possible. the savoury, bitter and fruity flavours as well as the unmistakable aromas of the wines makes them unique and an absolute pleasure to drink. One of the most notable wines of Santantoni is the Valdobbiadene DOCG sparkling wine which is well respected across the region. The wines of the Santantoni winery that simply cannot be missed are the Costa Sengelle, the Mirka, the Luigi Follador and the Folla. Each is these is an absolute pleasure to drink and are truly representative of the wonderful terroir and history of the Santantoni farm.
