As you enter our state-of-the-art facility, you'll notice the careful attention to detail that defines our winemaking process. With a production capacity of 7,000 hectoliters per year, our expansive cellars and well-equipped workspaces ensure that we achieve the best results during harvest. Each vineyard's base wines are vinified separately in tanks and fermenting bins, each holding between 650 and 660 gallons, preserving their unique characteristics.

Step into the heart of our winery, where the inviting aromas of Hungarian and French oak barrels fill the air. Our barrels, crafted from oak that has been air-dried for at least three years, are essential in developing the rich flavors and aromas of our wines. We work closely with skilled vintners and conduct regular tastings to monitor each barrel's progress, ensuring that our wines reflect the true essence of our harvest.

Tradition and Artistry

Before you leave, take a moment to admire the stunning Carrara-marble statue, Genesis, which stands proudly at the entrance. This beautiful piece by Boldi has been a symbol of our winemaking journey since our first harvest. A gastronomic experience beyond all imagination, both in food and service! We have a basis for comparison, so I can confidently say that the restaurant deserves at least 1 Michelin star, it is not understood why it is "only" recommended. In any case, all credit to the team, we have that star in our eyes! The dishes are just as fantastic, some of them even a poem! The service is of a high standard! Congratulations, keep up the good work! We have definitely become fans of Sauska, not only when it comes to wines.

We had a very pleasant evening in the restaurant. From the group of 6 people, the girls ordered their food individually, the boys chose the 7-course tasting menu with a wine list. The portions were very small, but in the end no one was left hungry. The restaurant combines local gastronomy with elements of haute cuisine very well! Big congratulations to chef Attila Bicsár! The wines are great, that's the bottom line! We have been here several times and hope to go many more! (In the end, a small negative point: the restaurant is very noisy, the tables are too close to each other. If a group has drunk enough wine and the atmosphere is loud, then you can't even hear the voices of the others at the table next to them!)
