Stairs N' Roses has a heartfelt story to share. Founded with love and dedication, our winery began its journey with a small number of vines. In May 2016, we witnessed our first vines flourish, and by September of that year, we carefully monitored their growth for our inaugural harvest. Visitors to our winery can hear these stories firsthand while enjoying our exceptional wines.
The Unique Terroirs of Mosel
Our winery spans 6.5 hectares in the Mosel region, where we cultivate a variety of grapes, including Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Sauvignac, and Cabernet Blanc. Among these, Riesling stands out as our signature grape, celebrated for its elegance and complexity.
A Rich Family Heritage
Stairs N' Roses has been rooted in the Kindel district of the Moselle since 1974, but the Molitor family's viticultural legacy extends far beyond that. With generations of experience, our family tradition is evident in every bottle of wine we produce.

A couple of weeks ago, we were a group of friends visiting Stairs N’Roses (Viermorgenhof). We had a really great visit at the winery. We saw the wine production and afterwards we sat in the middle of the wineyard under blue skyes where Daniel told us the stories of how they produce and name the wines - interesting, funny and thoughtful. Would definately recommend visiting Stairs N’Roses if you are in the area - its a really charming family owned winery.

A warm welcome, in the vineyard. Personal and interesting tour of the winery. A spontaneous, social and passionate owner who talks with great love about his vision of wine. His vision is also reflected in the glass. Rock and roll, against local traditions, but oh so successful. Other cultivars, ways of growing. Humor, love, sadness, stories from the label to the taste. Daniel, you are a top winemaker and rest assured we will visit you again.
