The winemaking story at Lehnert-Veit began in 1653 with Eucharius Lehnert. The current generation combines traditional grape cultivation with modern techniques, producing exceptional wines under the Qualitätswein and Prädikatswein classifications. In 2013, they enhanced their facilities with a new cellar and a wine shop, offering tastings and tours to visitors.

Grapes and Accommodations

The Lehnert family cultivates a range of premium grape varieties, including Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Merlot, and Chardonnay. These grapes thrive in renowned Mosel winegrowing areas such as Piesporter Goldtröpfchen, Falkenberg, and Günterslay. The winery spans 11.5 hectares, with vineyards in Treppchen, Grafenberg, and Großer Herrgott. Using integrated viticulture and handpicking methods, only the finest grapes are selected for fermentation.

A beautiful estate with lovely views from the terrace. A tasting of delicious wines is available, but no information about the origin is provided. Unfortunately, the service on the terrace was rather bland. Aside from the winery itself, there's virtually nothing to do in the village. The room was fine and clean, but there was no tea or coffee making facilities, and there was no fan at very high temperatures.

Very nice restaurant, in the outdoor area you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the birdsong. Located right on the Moselle, simply wonderful. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food delicious and tasty at a good price-performance ratio. Wines of course in all classes. We didn't stay overnight. All in all, highly recommended

We have stayed here numerous times over the past 10 years when touring Germany and Western Europe. Piesport is a lovely village set alongside the Mosel river. This guest house backs onto the river and has a beautiful garden area where you can drink and dine with amazing views. The food has always been fantastic and there is a good selection to choose, as is the breakfast. The vineyards are literally just across the river so you can imagine how nice the wine is when grown and produced locally. Delicious. Would highly recommend staying at this guest house.
