2Castelli- Winery with Fascinating Manor House in the hills of Prosecco
The 2Castelli wine farm was brought up by Mr. Bruno Zago and his wife, Mrs. Anna Maria Gasparini. Both of them run a large industrial group with their four children. In 2009, they both were fascinated by a manor house in the hills of Prosecco, located between the Collalto and San Salvatore castles. 2Castelli farm was set up here to fulfill their love of winemaking and traditions.
Luxurious Holiday House
The estate is spread over 10 hectares of land and includes their vineyards, winery, and a holiday house for guests. The holiday home has a swimming pool with great views of the hills, a great terrace, jacuzzi, gym, and a professional kitchen. It can accommodate upto 12 visitors and is surrounded by the Treviso hills, forests, and olive groves.
2Castelli winery embraces a sustainable philosophy, and their goal is to make the best high-quality wines while minimizing the impact on nature.
Healthy and organic farming techniques are used in the vineyards and the cellar.
Famous Grape Varieties
They grow Raboso, Merlot, Glera, and Carmenere grape varietals that are used to make their quality red, rose, sparkling, and dessert wines. No chemical fertilizers are used, and the grapes and carefully selected manually. The wine cellar is dug into the hills that help in maintaining an optimum temperature inside it without using much energy resources. With cutting-edge technology and attention to detail, they make the famous Prosecco DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene and the young Prosecco DOC. Tradition, research, and the desire to create authentic tastes are the foundations of 2Castelli.
