Experience Exquisite Wines in a Historic 17th-Century Villa
Enchanting Surroundings and Exceptional Wines
Tenuta Baron Winery is nestled in the picturesque pre-alpine town of Treviso, specifically in Fonte. This charming estate spans ten hectares and is housed within the historic Villa Persicini, once a royal residence of King Vittorio Emanuele II. Surrounded by ancient trees and olive groves, the winery features rows of vines that create a unique natural ecosystem, making it a serene retreat for wine lovers.
Decades of Passion and Dedication
Founded in the 1970s by Domenico “Nico” Baron, Tenuta Baron Winery has a rich history. After acquiring the villa, he meticulously restored the buildings and replanted the vineyards. The family also revitalized the centuries-old park surrounding the villa. Today, Nico's wife and children manage the winery, utilizing the ancient cellar for aging red wines in oak barrels and a modern cellar for refining white wines in stainless steel tanks.
Harmony of Vines and Olives
The winery cultivates a diverse selection of grapes, including Glera, Chardonnay, Verduzzo, Manzoni Bianco, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz. Additionally, the estate is home to thousands of olive trees, such as Asolana, Frantoio, and Leccino. Tenuta Baron Winery is known for producing high-quality red, white, and sparkling wines, complemented by exquisite extra virgin olive oil, making it a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts and travelers alike.
