Mesmerizing Beauty, Tasteful Wines & Rich History
Located in the pre-alpine town of Treviso, Tenuta Baron Winery has its base in Fonte. The estate is stretched over ten hectares and situated inside an ancient villa, Villa Persicini, a royal residence of an Italian King, Vittoria Emanuel II. The villa is nestled in the heart of the winery, surrounded by centuries-old trees and olive groves with rows of vines bordering the boundaries. This makes Tenuta Baron Winery a small natural ecosystem.
More than 40 years of Never-Ending Commitment
Tenuta Baron is a 17th-century villa winery bought by Domenico “Nico” Baron in the 70s. After purchasing the ancient villa, he restored the buildings and replanting old vineyards. He also reestablished the centuries-old park perched within the villa campus. Later, the family constructed a wine cellar perched north inside the winery delved into the hill, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. Today, Domerico’s wife and children take care of all the operations of the winery. They use the villa’s ancient cellar for aging red wines in wooden oak barrels and the new cellar for refining white wines in stainless steel tanks.
