Tenuta Leonardo, Terroir Driven Wines
Tenuta Leonardo, situated in Galluccio, is a commune in the high Caserta area, in Campania, Italy. The winery, surrounded by lush vineyards, covers a land of over 18 hectares. The orography of the terroirs and suitable exposure of the vineyards make this place the best for the cultivation of high-quality vines. In 2016, the estate got the honour to supply their prestigious wines in the 20th-anniversary of “Tari.” It is the most prestigious goldsmith centre in Italy.
A Real Ramily-Run Business
The history of Tenuta Leonardo dates back to 1800. Presently, Pasquale Calce owns the winery. In early 1900, Leonardo Calce, the father of Pasquale, began the family business with the cultivation of grapes, chestnut and olive plantation. After the death of Leonardo, Pasquale took over the family business and dedicated himself to the management of the estate. Currently, Gianfranco Calce and Antonio Marandola are the crop managers. Also, Giacomo Mignacca is the commercial director of the estate and takes care of various stages of wine production.
A Winery Combining Modern and Traditional Methods to Produce High Quality Wines

He started the Filari arrangement and introduced new Aglianico and Falanghina vines.
