Biodynamic Certified Winery
Their terraced vineyards cover an area of about two hectares and are cultivated with a typical Amalfi Coast method that involves bordering with macere. The vineyards also have Mediterranean plants like oaks, olive trees, myrtles, pomegranates, strawberry trees, etc. There are around 3500 plants per hectare and some old buildings are being renovated at the farm. The winery estate has been certified biodynamic because of its use of sustainable and organic methods.
Most of the work is done by hands, and there is no use of fertilizers or chemicals.
Grapes Reflecting the True nature of their Terroir
Aglianico and Piedrosso are the main grapes that grow here used to make their Costa d’Amalfi DOC wines using the Gayot method. Around 6000 bottles of wines are made every year of their flagship Ragis red wine and Vitamenia rose wine. As there is no use of chemicals or additives, their wines retain a natural fruity flavor and have a strong taste and intense aroma. The wines are of high quality and rightly reflect the true nature of their terroir and hard work in winemaking.
