A Family Winery

A winery that started off with a dream, Tenuta Moriniello was the dream of two siblings Tania and Luigi and today, their dream stands concrete. This dream was inherited from their father, Beniamino who supported them like anything. Their father, Beniamino was passionate about vineyards and passionate about wines. This passion was passed on to his children. The birth of Tenuta Moriniello was no easy picnic; it took almost 5 years. But this journey led them through some of the most beautiful places in Italy and some of the best stories which only inspired them more. Tenuta Moriniello is a result of all this dedication. This family winery stands upright with all the love and dedication.

Tenuta Moriniello Has Organic Vineyards

The winemakers have been firm about their love for nature from the very beginning. The property of Tenuta Moriniello in the region of Tuscany spreads across 40 hectares. Cultivation in these lands is done organically. About 20 hectares are planted with vineyards and 5 with olive groves, with which they make in-house organic olive oil. The terroirs here are guilty of being in the ideal place due to the geographic position and morphology. Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet franc, Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Ciliegiolo, Colorino, Canaiolo are planted in these vineyards only to produce the richest and most flavorful grapes. Tenuta Moriniello received the “Organic Certification Guidelines” back in 2002 and since then have been cultivating and producing wines with organic methods.

The winemaker’s passion for winemaking has only driven them to keep digging for more knowledge on wines and winemaking. Tenuta Moriniello has established good links with the previous owner who has more than 2 decades of experience in the field of oenology. With their advice, the winery has continued to grow, strengthening their bond with tradition and a firm vision for the future.
