Celebrating 25 years of quality wine production

Established on historic land dating back to 1745, the Pakravan-Papi Winery is nestled at the foot of the picturesque hills in Northern Maremma, Tuscany. Surrounded by fragrant shrubs like juniper and Mediterranean oak, the vineyards thrive in the renowned Bolgheri area. Under the certified Toscana IGT labels, the estate produces exceptional single varietal red and white wines, with an annual output of 70,000 bottles. Today, the winery is proudly managed by the second generation—Leopold and Chiara—who continue the legacy with passion and innovation.

A passionate winemaker with a unique heritage

Amineh Pakravan, an Iranian married to Tuscan Enzo Papi, took on the mission of reviving the region's ancient winemaking traditions. In 2000, she rejuvenated the vineyards using a blend of modern innovation and time-honored techniques, laying the foundation for the Pakravan-Papi Winery. The estate’s architectural design reflects the charm of the Tuscan countryside, with its winery buildings reminiscent of traditional country chapels.

A perfect climate for exceptional grapes

Thanks to a unique micro-climate—marked by generous sunlight, fresh Mediterranean breezes, and mineral-rich soils—the vineyards yield grapes of exceptional quality. Amineh cultivates prized Bordeaux varieties including Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malvasia Toscana, Chardonnay, and Riesling. Grapes are hand-harvested and meticulously processed, spending time in oak barrels to develop depth and character.

Historic farmhouse

Guests are invited to stay at beautifully restored farmhouses dating back to the 1740s, now offering ten elegant apartments equipped with modern comforts. The estate features a swimming pool, tennis court, mountain bikes, BBQ areas, and landscaped gardens—all with breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Tuscan archipelago.

Culinary excellence at the Tenuta Pakravan-Papi

Adding to the experience is the Pakravan-Papi Enoteca and Restaurant, where guests can savor estate wines paired with exquisite Tuscan cuisine. The kitchen is led by MasterChef Francesca Filippone, who brings creativity and authenticity to every dish. Her menus celebrate local ingredients and the estate's wines in perfect harmony, making every visit a feast for the senses.

Stunning location The restaurant run by Francesca and Leopoldo offers truly innovative service and menu. Francesca's skilful insertion of aromas and improbable combinations make this culinary experience curious and very satisfying. We are talking about the bread made by the hands of the super chef and Leopoldo who knows how to pair the chosen dishes with the wine produced directly by his own company. I highly recommend the place... the people... the food. simonetta

Stunning location in a mind-relaxing landscape. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and make you feel pampered with their smiles. The kitchen offers innovative dishes and uses excellent quality products. A young group led by the fabulous Francesca and Poldo who help you choose the wines made by their company. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience that I would definitely repeat. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening you made us spend!!!
