Winemaking with a great passion at Azienda Agricola Terre de Pietra
The Azienda Agricola Terre de Pietra began as a passion project for the family Pietra who felt the need to return to their roots in Veneto, Italy and find their winemaking origins.
On their arrival on Veneto, the family started the winery from scratch with nothing but a basic wine making recipe, a reckless spirit, loads of wilfulness, loads of passion and a great support system
Great respect for the Terroir of Veneto
The winemakers at the Azienda Agricola Terre de Pietra winery credit the high quality of the wines to the terroir of the Veneto wine growing area. Through the entire wine making process this terroir is treated with the greatest respect and reverence. Each and every vine is treated like a child of the family and is considered with the greatest of care. In the production of Azienda Agricola Terre de Pietra wines very little technology is used and the wine makers rely mostly on their hands, noses, hearts and passion. The grape varietals grown on the farm include Corvina and Rondinella Molinara Garganega.
A real family run winery
The most popular wines produced at the winery are the Veronese Bianco (Vineyard of the Plague), the Valpolicella Classico (Stelar), the Valpolicella Superiore (Vineyard of the Plague), the Valpolicella Superiore (Mesal), and the Amarone of the Valpolicella (Rosson). All of the labels on these wine bottles are uniquely designed by the Azienda Agricola Terre de Pietra family and represent each of the family membres. The wine labeled with drawings done by the young children in the family make the wine easily recognizable on any shelf.
