A Winery With a Rich History Roots
Taurasi vineyards have been in possession of the Piscopo family for many years. Initially, the family was not directly into the wine production business but was indirectly getting benefits from the vineyards. Ernesto, the grandfather, began producing several grapes, which was later acquired by his grandson, Tommaso. Expanding the family business, in 1993-94, Tommaso started making his wines, namely O Principe Taurasi DOCG, together with Blend O’RRE. He also rediscovered the ancient grape variety Coda di Volpe during his journey.
