Stunning Views from the Winery Terrace

Villa Raiano is nestled in the picturesque Irpinia region of Campania, Italy, renowned for its rich winemaking history. Established in 2009, this winery harmoniously integrates with its natural surroundings, featuring lush oak woods and sprawling vineyards. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views from the winery’s terrace, overlooking the stunning valley that descends from Monte Terminio and the Sabato River. The cool climate of Irpinia, characterized by its interlinked mountains and hills, creates an ideal environment for grape cultivation.

The presence of rivers enhances the region's suitability for viticulture.

Quality Wines through Hand-Picking

Villa Raiano spans 27 hectares of vineyards, cultivating a variety of grapes. The viticulture in Irpinia thrives along two rivers, which flow in opposite directions. The region is home to two prominent white grape appellations: Greco di Tufo DOCG and Fiano di Avellino DOCG, while the red grape appellation, Taurasi DOCG, is found on the west side. The vineyards produce Fiano, Greco, Aglianico, and Falanghina grapes, all of which are handpicked to ensure the highest quality for their red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines.

Don't Miss the Signature Brut Sparkling Wine

A standout offering from Villa Raiano is their Brut Sparkling Wine, crafted using a classic blending method of Fiano and Greco grapes. Traditionally, winemakers in Irpinia sourced grapes from various municipalities to achieve a harmonious balance in flavor. The resulting wines are a true reflection of the unique terroir, showcasing the diverse characteristics and qualities of this exceptional region.

We were given a warm welcome even without a reservation. We were able to take a short cellar tour and then taste the wines.

We chose this property to celebrate our daughter's first birthday. It all started when we were looking for a place and returning from another restaurant that had not convinced us, we called this one Villa Raiano, whose name we had just seen on Google. Katia replied that, given our haste (now there were 10 days left), without an appointment, she organized an appointment and a detailed visit for us within 10 minutes and, convinced by the location and the friendliness of the welcome, we chose this place. Never a more appropriate choice! Having in-depth knowledge of the top locations and the hospitality sector, also having a sought-after accommodation facility and, in addition, guided by the passion for good food, we can only evaluate everything with a more than excellent rating! The menu and the quality of the dishes offered were higher quality than expected, the spectacular location, the grandiose welcome, between the first and second courses we also enjoyed a tour of the cellar! Overall the service, as well as the dishes and the staff, was worthy of a Michelin star. We were happily surprised and our daughter's first birthday was truly a worthwhile experience for us and the guests! We will definitely return to this venue for future occasions and ceremonies!

A beautiful structure surrounded by vineyards. The gardens surrounding the property are very beautiful. It is a winery with an attached restaurant. The room is tastefully decorated; the staff is hospitable and well-trained. The chef offers a menu of typical dishes reinterpreted in a modern style. Excellent aperitifs, accompanied by an excellent Prosecco. The quality is good, but I don't know the price since I was a guest. The cleaning was excellent.

A beautiful, comfortable, and quiet, panoramic location on a hilltop, where I spent a pleasant evening for a private party. The party menu included a buffet of fried appetizers and a table-service dinner with two first courses, a second course, and desserts. Everything was very simple and straightforward, with varied and sophisticated combinations in the dishes, tastefully presented, and a much-appreciated encore. The side dishes could be improved; the sorbet is forgettable; the pastries are excellent. Very attentive and courteous staff. A positive opinion, and limited only to dinner, even though the structure is very extensive and also stands out for its wine cellars.
