Villa le Prata

This place is absolutely magical. The staff is lovely - friendly, knowledgeable, good humored, and so invested in everyone having a phenomenal experience (if you don’t it’s your own fault). My only regret is that we didn’t spend more time there. We hope to be back someday - I’ve never been so happy curled up on a couch with a book and a bottle of wine, house kitty purring next to me. Also the breakfast is amazing! Who am I kidding, everything is amazing, just go here.

Wonderful villa in Tuscany, the view, the ambience, the atmosphere is impeccable. The welcome will make you feel just like home, the receptionist helped me with all of my questions which I think I asked alot and she answer every single one of them. It is very peaceful and very professional yet still feel like home, we definitely come back💚🤎

Magnificent villa and grounds, everything was perfect.

A beautiful villa with only 8 guest rooms and a stunning garden. The pool offers breathtaking sunsets over the Tuscan hills. The owner, her family, and the staff are warm and welcoming, and the wine tasting was more detailed than expected. And of course, the wines are superb!

We visited Villa le Prata for a pasta cooking class and a Brunello tasting. The time we spent cooking together was amazing, Francesca and Nico (with whom we had the lesson) are wonderful people! The wines at the tasting were delicious. I highly recommend Villa le Prata for both cooking classes and wine tastings, as well as for a stay during your vacation. The place is incredible!

Our stay at Villa Le Prata was a dream — the perfect start to our honeymoon and this new chapter in our lives. From the peaceful beauty of the villa and its panoramic views of Montalcino to the warm hospitality of the entire team (including Tannino!), every detail made us feel right at home. The wines were an absolute highlight. The tasting led by Giada was outstanding — her knowledge, warmth, and passion truly brought the wines to life. We loved them so much we shipped some home to enjoy long after our stay. We especially loved the Vigna San Prospero (Brunello di Montalcino 2018) and sipping the Tirso 2024 poolside as the sun set over the hills — a memory we’ll hold onto forever. On our final day, we had the pleasure of meeting the lovely owner, Anna, whose spirit and kindness reflect the heart of the villa. As the founder of Unwined 2020, a lifestyle brand inspired by Italy, I shared how my Signature Candle Collection was created to capture the feeling of places like this — a Tuscan villa surrounded by vineyards, lavender, and stillness. Anna connected so deeply with that story and even asked for a set of her own. It was equally special that they welcomed me to photograph my candles throughout the villa — moments I’ll always treasure. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to stay in the Val d'Orcia (near Montalcino)! Beautiful location with an infinity pool and breathtaking views of their vineyards. We also tasted three of their wines, which were delicious! The staff were very friendly and professional, and the room was beautiful and very clean!

The winery, one of the smallest in Montalcino, offers excellent wines, the fruit of the passion and dedication of Edoardo, the family's winemaker. I've been to the Tuscany region twice, and this was definitely the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Everything was beautiful, and the service was excellent. The only downside was having to leave. We will definitely return!

This place is simply incredible, with a wonderful view that's worth seeing at least once in a lifetime! The room was super cozy, large, and clean, as was the bathroom. The service was impeccable; they were super nice to us, especially since we needed transportation to the train station, and we arranged everything perfectly with them. The breakfast is varied and very well served, with no need to order extra items. Since we had to leave early, we arranged for an earlier breakfast and were very well served! It was a dream come true! The only downside is that we found everything very expensive, from the locally produced wine to an omelet at breakfast (the omelet is extra).

Beautiful property in Val d'Orcia. A meticulously renovated villa opened less than a year ago. Eight immaculately clean, spacious rooms, and extremely friendly staff. Dinner in the vineyard or in the conservatory is a must. Excellent ingredients for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. Tasting of high-quality wines produced by the same property is available. Strategically located in the heart of Val d'Orcia (3 km from Montalcino). Highly recommended. Thank you!

A unique, peaceful, and exclusive place. The service was magnificent; we were welcomed with a glass of their own wine. The room was full of lovely little touches that made us feel like royalty. And the staff were absolutely delightful! 10/10 service. The surrounding villages and landscapes are priceless.
