The winery's history dates back to the owner's grandfather, who initially ran a mixed agricultural business that included winemaking. After World War II, the focus shifted entirely to wine production, transforming the estate into a dedicated winemaking facility.

A Commitment to Sustainability

With a vision for a sustainable future, the owner’s father invested in modern equipment, including a grape harvester and wine press, to enhance the winemaking process. Weingut Birgit Fürst spans 4.5 hectares of prime vineyard land, where the unique soil and microclimate yield high-quality, flavorful grapes. The winery cultivates a diverse range of varietals, including Riesling, Spätburgunder, Dornfelder, Bacchus, and Gewürztraminer, among others. Handpicked grapes are used to craft their remarkable selection of red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines.
