Jochen Dreissigacker's path to winemaking was shaped by his passion for wine, rather than the expectations of his parents, who envisioned him as a tax advisor. After completing his initial training in a tax office, Jochen pursued a second apprenticeship as a winegrower. He then joined the family winery with a vision to elevate it among the top wineries in the region. His commitment to consistency, meticulous attention to detail, and a relentless pursuit of quality are evident in every bottle produced.

Organic Winemaking Practices
Jochen vinified his first wine in 2001 and took over the family winery in Bechtheim in 2005. Today, the estate spans 40 hectares and has been certified for organic production since 2007. Between 2014 and 2018, a new winery was constructed amidst Bechtheim’s vineyards, a pioneering move in Rheinhessen. The estate prioritizes sustainability and natural conditions, allowing for two harvests and enabling their single-varietal Rieslings to rest on fine yeast for a minimum of 18 months.
Wine Tasting Experience
The winery cultivates a variety of grapes, including Riesling, Chardonnay, Weissburgunder, and Grauburgunder. They produce an impressive range of wines, from high-quality reds and whites to rosés, sparkling wines, and dessert wines.
