Our Unique Terroir

The majority of our vineyards are situated around Stadecken-Elsheim, where the soil is primarily loam and loess, enriched with limestone veins. These limestone deposits are remnants of a tertiary ocean that once covered this land, providing a distinctive character to our wines. This unique geological history contributes to the complexity and flavor profiles of our wines, making them a true reflection of our region.
