The name Lagler goes way back, back to the 18th Century. Back then, the name Lagler was associated with Rote Torgasse Farm; they were quite a thing for producing grapes and then having them delivered to the wine producers. It was only in the 1970s that they became one themselves and since then; there has been no turning back.

In the Wachau region, the vineyards are in the best Spitzer locations, and kept as natural as possible. The winery is also a member of the Vinea Wachau. Weingut Lagler produces Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaragd wines.

Weingut Lagler has grapes like Gruner Velltline, Riesling, Muskateller, Neuburger, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Gemischter Satz, Zweigelt and Pinot Noir grow naturally in their vineyards. These ripe grapes full of flavor are then vinified and stored in modern steel tanks and large wooden barrels depending on the variety and vintage.
