Winzerfamilie Gregor Schup Winery’s Aim is the Creation of Unique Wines
Even 2000 years ago, the Romans knew that vines would grow well in this area. In the 12th century, the winegrowing region near Vienna saw a boom when ancient winemakers recognized the best vineyards, and their layout shows an influence from the Burgundy mother monastery of Citeaux. The areas of Bad Voslau and Gumpoldskirchen merged, and the Wine Act of 1985 was created in the region. The main aim of the winery is to create unique wines and host guests at their Heurigen Restaurant.
