In 1991, Meinolf Kerz took the reins of Weingut Villa Kerz, continuing a family legacy that spans over three centuries. With years of experience in his father's winery and training as a master winemaker, Meinolf combines traditional methods with innovative approaches to create exceptional wines.

Modern Winemaking Meets Tradition

Our family has called Bodenheim home for more than 125 years, and our winery has been crafting wines for over 300 years. The unique climate of the Rheinhessen region plays a vital role in shaping our wines, allowing for a diverse range of flavors. We offer an extensive selection, from classic regional red wines to contemporary styles, as well as dry, elegant whites, Weißherbst, Blanc-de-Noir, semi-dry and sweet wines, Secco, and sparkling options. There’s a perfect bottle for every palate.

Charming Wine Press House

The wine press house, along with our historic wine cellar that dates back over 125 years, is located adjacent to the main building of Villa Kerz. For nearly half a year, we dedicate ourselves to the meticulous process of winemaking in the cool, controlled environment of the cellar. This careful attention results in wines that are both elegant and approachable, showcasing the true essence of our craft.
