The Ideal Terroirs
The Andeluz winery produces organic wines from the terroir of the Mendoza region. The vines of this region are planted at high altitudes. The climate is temperate with harsh winters and warm summers that have cool nights to cool the vines. The vineyards of the Andeluz are planted at 1200 meters above sea level and form an oasis between the Andes and the desert. The landscape is breathtaking and is the perfect setting to create grapes with unique flavors. The cultivation of organic vines means caring for the earth and creating the smallest possible impact on the environment as possible. All of this is done while ensuring the best quality of the nutritional components of the wine.
For Andeluz wines to be considered organic, they are aligned with strict rules in all stages of their production. To make organic wine, organic yeast is also used which is taken from the previous harvest to guarantee better quality. The Andeluz organic wines are cultivated in vines with ecological products, without the use of any chemicals, herbicides, pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. This means that the ground is worked manually and mechanically using organic yeast and compost based fertilizers. The result of this is wine that is delicate and compatible with the responsible use of natural resources. The grapes contain more vitamin C, iron, phosphorous and magnesium than other grapes which means they are better for huma consumption. The organic wines also contain less nitrates and sulfates, which are harmful for the body and typically cause hangovers. For amazing hangover free wines be sure to head to the Andeluz Winery.
