The first harvest at Caelum Winery took place in 2009 after years of dedication, passion, and preparation. In the beginning, the estate used to sell its grapes to other wineries but as the years passed, the owners decided to begin growing fruit for their own use to produce high-class wines. Today, the modern cellar at Caelum Winery is outfitted with advanced machinery. They have temperature controlling stainless steel tanks for effective fermentation and both French and American oak barrels are used for the storage and aging process of the wines. Caelum Winery bottles their wines on the premise maintainiing control of the entire production from vine to bottle.

Wines that Reflect the Minerality of the Soils in the Wine Region

Equipped with anti-hail mesh and a dedicated irrigation system, the owner of Caelum Winery cultivates the vineyards with a broad range of grape varieties, including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Fiano. Since the soils present in Agrelo and Lujan de Cuyo offer abundant minerals, the winery grows sophisticated Torrontés, Pinot Noir, Montepulciano, and Petite Syrah. All of Caelum WInery’s vines create luscious red, white, rosé, and dessert wines certified within the region of Mendoza.
