Experience Exceptional Wines at the Foot of the Andes
Viamonte: Nestled at the Base of the Andes
Viamonte Winery is a charming boutique winery located just a few miles from the vibrant city of Mendoza, Argentina. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Andes Mountains, this winery offers breathtaking landscapes rich in color and character.
The vineyards of Viamonte are situated in Vistalba, within the certified appellation region of Luján de Cuyo, known for its exceptional wine production.
A Legacy of Winemaking
With a winemaking tradition spanning over a century, Viamonte was established in 2007 by Arturo Celasso and his wife. Today, the fourth generation of their family manages the winery, blending traditional grape-growing methods with modern techniques to cultivate high-quality vines.
Unique Terroir and Varietals
The vineyards at Viamonte benefit from three distinct soil types, each imparting unique characteristics to the grapes. The winery produces a variety of wines, including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and white varietals like Sauvignon Blanc and Bonarda. Every grape is handpicked to ensure only the finest berries are selected for cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Viamonte's cellar has undergone several enhancements to maintain the highest quality standards. The winery ages its wines in large French oak barrels, allowing for optimal flavor development. Viamonte is also dedicated to crafting exceptional Argentinian rosé wines, taking full advantage of its unique location in the Andes.
