An unforgettable experience! The winery boasts breathtaking views and incredible terroir Malbec wines that are truly world-class. Our guide Gonzalo is exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the winemaking process throughout their vineyards all around Salta & Mendoza. A special highlight was spotting the resident carancho birds, Claudio and Martha—such a treat! Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting the area.

We are grateful for such a happy experience at this micro boutique winery. Nicolás shared with great precision some extremely interesting aspects about the research and development of this exclusive winery, which has crops in different terroirs in the provinces of Mendoza and Salta; each one with its respective geological characteristics. We also had the pleasant opportunity to have one of its owners and winemaker, Santiago Achaval, present to share his work and knowledge. Definitely, being able to taste high-end wines, observing and learning about the origin and production of the Matervini vineyards, notably elevated our experience. 100% recommended.

In Perdriel, a relatively new winery (its owners/winemakers were from Achaval Ferrer). Small for the region, it produces excellent quality wines, especially the Malbec varietal. Tours and tastings available.

It's a great place to learn about the wines and the places where they are produced. The wines are excellent, and only a few bottles are produced each year, which is why the wines are of higher quality and price. It's worth a visit.

We didn't know the wines from Matervini yet. The dedication to Malbec is extraordinary and shows the potential of this grape variety very impressively. The tasting and the tour were very informative and exciting. Anyone looking for something exceptional and of the highest quality will be well served here.

A complete tasting experience with all the wines produced in the winery, coming from vineyards in different areas. They are wines of the highest quality and unique refinement. If you like wine, it is a must. The host Nico gave us an educational tour of the vineyards, the soils and the characteristics that each one of them gives to the final product. Excellent!

A boutique winery with a small production, mainly Malbec grapes, but they are produced in several regions. We were able to see the differences in the terroirs. The tasting was very well conducted, with good explanations of the wines. The winery is small, so the visit is quick, not comparable to other larger wineries.

We did a winetasting with a group of our friends 12 in total, and it was an absolutely amazing time! The scenery is beautiful, and the wine is some of the best in the world, literally look it up! We ended up joining the wine club, as we enjoyed it so much. I would highly recommend!

I went hoping to find a really good winery and I found a gem, a winery conceived to be very high-end, and it lacks nothing. We had a glorious tasting, with some of the best Malbecs in the country. They specialize in seeking out the best expressions of the best terroirs in our country, and they succeed in doing so with flying colors. A luxury from start to finish. Nicolás the sommelier treated us like friends, and Santiago Achaval, who was nearby, cleared up all our doubts. Without a doubt, a must-visit and very close to Mendoza City.

Without a doubt the best winery experience in Mendoza!!!! (and I know many). I already knew some of the wines, but I ended up being surprised by all the others and by the place. To start, the place is beautiful, well-kept, and following the line of sustainability that the winery proposes. We began with the visit to the vineyard, where you can appreciate all the work and identity of these wines from Achaval and Cipresso. Gonzalo was our host and I want to highlight his attention, and passion for transmitting the wine, and what is the identity of the winery. Once in the tasting room, after passing through the barrel room, there were very comfortable chairs, full of works of art by one of Achaval's daughters and everything very well decorated. We tried almost the entire line of wines, and everything was excellent. We had a very well-run, interesting tasting, with great discoveries. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience, and I really recommend it. It's a shame that they don't have any gastronomic experience, but the wines they make are worth it on their own and are equally enjoyable. I recommend that you visit them, and those who don't know them should discover the whole project. IT'S SPECTACULAR!!! I will definitely be back!!!! I hope it's soon!!!

Yesterday we were doing the tasting at Matervini, a highly recommended experience. Gustavo, the guide, accompanied us throughout the tour, super attentive to our questions, telling us tips and secrets about wine. During the visit we met Santiago Achaval who told us about the process and operation of the machinery, and he infected us with his passion for wine 😍. Matervini's wine is exceptional, it is a winery with a small production, where the important thing is quality and not quantity and that is noticeable in each of the stages of production, the result being a wine that you cannot leave Mendoza without trying!!! I recommend coming at this time, not only for the weather but also because you will live the experience of the grape harvest, seeing the step by step of production in a real way!
