Winemaking with Complete Respect of Nature

The owner of the winery grows an extensive range of vines with complete respect for the local biodiversity and ecosystem. Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon are the prime varieties of the farming land, along with Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Torrontés. The vineyards enjoy perfect natural irrigation with water coming from the Andes Mountains as it thaws in spring. After becoming fully ripe in the Andes microclimate, the berries are handpicked to produce delicious red and white wines, in combination with aromatic rosé wines, all under the Mendoza appellation status.

The cellar at Mevi Winery, implements innovative and modern technology, utilizing advanced machinery. A hydraulic press is used for soft pressing after harvesting, followed by fermentation in the newest stainless steel tanks. These tanks also employ an advanced cooling unit and a hot water boiler. Wines are stored in French and American oak barrels to age and refine with efficacy.
