Experience the rich winemaking tradition of the Negro family since 1670.
Angelo Negro e Figli: Wines with Distinct Character
Angelo Negro e Figli boasts 60 hectares of vineyards across several historic sites, including Cascina Perdaudin in Monteu Roero, Cascina St. Vittore in Canale, Cascina Basarin in Neive, and Baudana in Serralunga d’Alba. Each vineyard benefits from unique soils and microclimates, resulting in wines that are rich in character. Since 1670, the Negro family has cultivated vineyards in the Roero hills, focusing on the region's native grape varieties: Arneis and Favorita for whites, and Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and Brachetto for reds.
A Legacy of Passionate Winemaking
For over three centuries, the Negro family has dedicated themselves to the art of winemaking. Giovanni Negro, along with his sons Gabriele, Angelo, Giuseppe, daughter Emanuela, and wife Marisa, passionately tend to the vineyards. Their commitment has earned numerous awards, highlighting the unique personality of their wines. The winery employs traditional methods to cultivate a variety of grapes, including the rare Favorita, Arneis, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, and Brachetto.
Commitment to Sustainable Practices
Since 2016, Angelo Negro e Figli has been certified under “The Green Experience,” focusing on sustainable agriculture. This initiative aims to conserve soil resources, promote biodiversity, and protect the UNESCO-listed landscapes of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato.
