Angelo Negro e Figli provides 60 hectares of vineyards, distributed among the historical Cascina Perdaudin in Monteu Roero, the Cascina St. Vittore in Canale, the Cascina Basarin in Neive and Baudana in Serralunga d’Alba. The different grounds and microclimates originate very well-defined wines, rich in character. Since 1670 the Negro Family cultivates vineyards on the hills of Roero and works for valorizing this splendid corner of Piedmont, exalting the prestigious, autochthonous vines: Arneis and Favorita as the white varieties; Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and Brachetto among those of red grapes.

A Passion for Winemaking

For over three centuries, the Negro family has been cultivating vines with great passion and commitment to produce luscious wines. By now numerous prizes have recognized the personality of these wines, to which Giovanni Negro devotes himself with passion, together with his sons Gabriele, Angelo, Giuseppe, daughter Emanuela, and to his wife Marisa. In the winery, Angelo Negro follows traditional methods to grow various types of grapes such as rare Favorita, Arneis, and Nebbiolo along with exceptional Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, and Brachetto.
