Armand Heitz: Crafting Expressive Wines

At Le Cellier Armand Heitz, located in the picturesque village of Chassagne-Montrachet, we produce a diverse selection of aromatic and flavorful wines. Our family estate specializes in both white and red wines sourced from the prestigious Côte de Beaune appellations, including Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Saint Aubin. Additionally, since 2018, we have expanded our offerings to include wines from our estate in Juliénas, Beaujolais.

Our Philosophy: Sustainable Viticulture

As a representative of the new generation of Burgundy winegrowers, Armand Heitz prioritizes environmental sustainability in every aspect of our winemaking. We practice agroecology and permaculture on our estate, ensuring that our farming methods are both responsible and productive. In addition to winemaking, Armand manages a nearby cattle farm, integrating livestock into our polyculture system. This holistic approach aims for self-sufficiency in wine and meat production while maintaining a minimal carbon footprint.

We invite you to visit our Cellier in Pommard, where you can taste our wines, learn about our farm-to-table recipes, and understand our commitment to sustainable agriculture.

Wine cellar with wines from this growing winery that practices permaculture. The visit to the vineyards and subsequent tasting was both very professional and very relaxed. And that in the middle of August. We tasted many very well made wines (villages, Premier Crus) with exciting explanations in a very pleasant atmosphere.
