New Prospects of Winemaking

Off the beaten and the most popular wine routes, looking for new wine production prospects, we find, immersed in the amazing hilly Monferrato landscape, a cellar that produces natural organic wines with a particular philosophy and totally innovative techniques such as the use of essential oils, propolis and microorganisms to prevent diseases of the vine.

The Winemaking

Not only a simple tasting but the discovery of personal wines and his eccentric vigneron Tommaso Gallina, who started this path, which has now become a passion, in 2004, as a perfect self-taught (without possible conditioning that an eventual family of winemakers behind in many cases would bring).

His wines are the result of personal and technical intuition, they are live and evolving products. Each bottle contains the essence of a vintage, the vineyard's expressiveness and the winemaker's idea.

The wine cellar is part of a historical building surrounded by lovely vineyards and olive trees.

Here we produce in an artisanal way several types of wines and a small production of olive oil and honey.

A cellar that cannot be missed. Sara and Tommaso are very hospitable and simple, you are always at ease. Their wines are incredible, all with great personality and impossible to find anywhere else. Go there, because the location is also worth it.

Day spent in the company of Tommaso, owner of the ASOTOM company, tasting wines and learning about his talent. I recommend a tour of the vineyard to discover a centuries-old work....

A very, very great little winery run by Tomaso. With his connection to the soil, the vines and nature, he lives this joy in every bottle. The tasting for €20 is worth every cent. It begins very simply and ends in the cellar with very old and exquisite rarities. The Barbera vintages 13 and 15 are currently on sale. Congratulations on your great wines and the very informative tour. I would be happy to come back without reservation. Kurt, Elsbeth, Urs, Irene, Antonio, Henriette, Thomas and Heidi

Very close to Milan, a natural wine cellar that brings something different and original compared to the most famous and classic wines of Piedmont. Very pleasant visit to the cellar and, like all small cellars (they produce around 10,000 bottles) there remains that constant human side of the visit which for me is always an added value. I recommend adding the ultra-local cheese and cured meat platter when you book the tasting. During the slightly nicer seasons there are also various interesting experiences. If you want to try their wines to convince yourself of the trip, they are also found in some places in Milan. Thanks again to Sara and Tom
