We’re Carlo and Martina, owners of Carlo Casetta winery in Roero, Piedmont.
We are a family business: it's just the 2 of us, looking after each aspect of production, selling, marketing, hospitality and so on! We are a couple both in life and in business : Carlo is an oenologist and Martina is Sommelier and interpreter. The yearly production is 25.000 – 30.000 bottles, focused on the most famous Piedmont vine varieties: Nebbiolo, Barbera and Arneis, We take care not only of the vineyards, the wine, and the cellar, but also invest time and effort in the packaging, the marketing aspects and the personal partnership with each partner.

The winery was historically established in the Sixties by Carlo’s Grandfather, but in 2018 we officially entered the business, starting a new entrepreneurial adventure. We’re young, enthusiastic and passionate about our home territory rich in wine traditions. The goal is to stand out into such a wide and varied panorama where our wines tell our philosophy. We do our best to bottle the identity of Roero, traditionally characterised by sandy soils and steep hills. In fact, our wines can be identified with modern style of production, the intense and elegant bouquet, a refined and longstanding sip.
Each bottle is handmade, wrapped and sealed with wax, as proof of finest quality and prestige. We aim at reaching the best quality ever, so the amount of bottles is limited, and our standards are very high and valued.
