This was a fantastic wine tasting experience. The wines were delicious (with generous sample sizes) and the cheese, meat, and bread selection that accompanied the wines was beyond what I could have imagined. I found the owners to be delightful—Stella was a gem!! And the fact that the organized transportation from the town made it easy to reach. This was an impromptu booking and I am so glad I did it. I highly recommend it if you are near Domodossola. Thank you for a wonderful day!

5 stars are not enough to rate this jewel!! If you are looking for a perfect place to relax, taste some excellent wines accompanied by local cheese, bread and ham, this vineyard is perfect for you! You can easily feel that Stella and Edoardo love what they do. If you want, you will get a lot of information about the history of the vineyards, the wines and the other products… if not, they are happy to just let you relax and have a good time! I will definitely come back to this wonderful place

We had a nice evening with good wine and tasty cheese, bread and ham. Everything was very good. Very nice people . The view is amazing. Highly recommend a visit!

Edoardo and his wife are trained and available professionals! The service offered is impeccable, fresh products at km 0 and wine of incredible quality. The place is easily accessible by bike, car and on foot. The Sinoira snack and magnum hunting in the vineyard are definitely recommended experiences for a group of friends or a family; I will definitely be back!

I went to this beautiful place for a bachelorette party. Surrounded by greenery and vineyards on a hill with great views of the village. We ate very well, complete km 0 food with explanation of some traditional dishes. Excellent wine tasting that accompanied the plates of cold cuts, cheeses and vegetables well! The girl who served us was really kind and friendly. The owner was very kind and approachable and made us feel at home. He organized some fun games for the bride and it was very inviting. It is not difficult to get to the place, just that the entrance is a bit hidden and being on the road it is not immediately noticeable. The only negative notes were the doorbell that did not work, but after knocking they opened it immediately and the inside of the basement was a bit dirty and dusty. Things that can be solved with time. You can tell that there is love and passion in any case and they manage to transmit it with their friendliness and friendliness. Congratulations, you deserve a full 5! I hope to come back soon

We had a great experience at this tasting, it was very informal and we had a lot of fun. Stella gave us a lovely afternoon and the panorama is stunningly beautiful. Prices are absolutely fair, I would recommend booking through their own website and not through TripAdvisor, there is a wider selection of different activities and better prices. We would be happy to come back, but this time with the shuttle service, as it is quite a climb up the mountain ;-)

In the Ossola Valley there have been for some years, (not all) young producers who offer truly exceptional wine produced by Azienda Vinicola Edoardo Patrone Cellar and vineyard: Borgata Baceno, 51 Domodossola (VB) ITALY Nebbiolo Prünent Stella Valli Ossolane DOC Nebbiolo Nebbiolo Prunent Stella is vinified in red, with maceration for 15 days, temperatures vary from 26-30° C to favor the extraction of the coloring substance contained in the skin of the grapes. Separation of the grape seeds on the fifth day to maintain the soft tannins of the wine. Malolactic fermentation in a natural way at the end of alcoholic fermentation. The refinement is done in French oak barriques for about 6 months, with a rest on the yeasts with the batonnage technique. Pairings It goes well with red meat dishes, stewed game, tasty/mature cheeses Recommended serving temperature 20° C Prunent, an emblematic vine of the Val d'Ossola. Its roots emerge in the 14th century in a will written on 18 May 1309 by Dumino di Pello di Trontano who provided for an annual legacy of nine bushels of perpetual wine to the Convent of the Friars Minor of Domodossola. Our company, recovering the typical vines, produces this rare and sought-after vine which is part of the Nebbiolo family.

About the wine tasting: We were tasting five wines with appetizers. Each bottle was left where the owner Stella said: pour more if you like! She started with a board with cheeses and meats, but it turned out to be a board of three. Then she opened three more bottles. An extensive tasting with five stars ;-)

Tasting with a TLC voucher. The owner's helpfulness and kindness are immediately noticeable. An experience to try. The cellar of the shop in the center of Domodossola where the tasting is offered is beautiful from an architectural point of view. Honestly, I don't like wine, especially extra dry, but the Basin rosé produced by this winery made me change my mind, just from the smell of the wine you can tell you are in front of a niche product and of high quality. Pet friendly place. Absolutely recommended.

A lovely place to linger and enjoy a glass of wine. The wine is just like the view and the hospitality - breathtakingly good! We particularly liked the rose wine. The wine tasting was very well explained and we felt comfortable at all times. I hope we can come back again sometime!

Thanks to Edoardo Patrone, his wife and their wonderful wine, I had the opportunity to live one of the most beautiful wine and food experiences of recent times. Sitting under the vineyard, from where you can also admire a fantastic panorama of Domodossola, we relaxed during a tasting of 5 wines that included, in addition to the glasses, also a huge platter with cold cuts and cheeses from the Ossola valleys. The wine, obviously the great protagonist of the tasting, was superb, from the rosés to the more full-bodied reds, we drank it all with pleasure, also paying attention to the interesting history and work ethic behind the production of this winery. The kindness and passion of the owner are contagious and helped to give an extra boost to this tasting. I highly recommend living an experience in this vineyard, I am sure that any lover of good wine will not be disappointed at all.

My husband and I signed up for the 5-wine tasting, and it was absolutely amazing. We started outside overlooking the beautiful scenery, then moved inside due to the weather. Stella was such an absolute joy when explaining the wines to us, and her and Edoardo's interactions are both sweet and hilarious. I loved every single wine we tried, and the food pairings were great. I cannot recommend this vineyard enough. If I'm ever back in Domodossola, I will definitely visit again.

We had a phenomenal time here! We were in town for a day and we decided to walk since we didn’t have a car to visit this winery and it was so beyond worth it! Edoardo created a wonderful experience for our group of 5 and was able to tailor the menu and wine pairings to our specific liking on the spot. None of us usually drink red wines but the reds here had our glasses eager for another pour (along with all the other types of wines offered) Could not recommend coming here enough. Thanks Edoardo for a perfect evening!

Super beautiful, really nice winery. The view is great, the service absolutely outstanding. We'd love to come back. Next time we won't go by bike, then we can take more wine with us. :)
