The winery is housed in a historic country manor surrounded by their eight hectares of vineyard extending onto the surrounding hills. It is a family cellar passionately run by Anna Muzzolini and producing wines of remarkable value and intense aromas.

Since, her father opened the winery in the seventies, they have worked to improve their land every day and follow tradition in their winemaking. The aim of Azienda Agricola Grillo is to obtain respect for the land so all processes in the vineyard are carried out by hand. They focus on sustainability and protecting biodiversity. For this reason, their vineyard has been pesticide free for more than 15 years. They cultivate diverse grape varieties like Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Schioppettino di Prepotto, Refosco, Cabernet Sauvignon, Picolit and Verduzzo however they favor cultivation of native grape varieties. Their major wine productions are red, white and dessert Friuli Colli Orientali DOC wines.
