Colutta Winery, Three Cultures

Colutta Wines is a renowned winery in Colli Orientali del Friuli, with 18 acres of vineyards in the middle of which is a pool. This area as a border to three countries, Austria, Slovenia, and Italy, is accordingly rich in culture and food inspired by three countries. Colutta Winery includes an seventeenth-century Padronale villa at the center of their cellar, barrel room, and state-of-the-art bottling facility.

A Family Success Story

In the year 1939, Antonio Colutta decided to buy a country house in Manzano with a small vineyard and thus began the story of Colutta Wines. Over the years, his sons followed his footsteps and developed the company into a viable business. Giorgio, grandson of Antonio is the owner of the family estate now and under his leadership, Colutta wines are achieving newer heights in wine business nationally and internationally.

Experience Award Winning Wines

The grapes are grown with the environment in mind and follow traditional methods of production to ensure the best quality. The major varieties cultivated here are Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon blanc, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Prosecco, Merlot, Cabernet, Refosco, Schioppettino and Pignolo. From these varieties, they produce various red, white, sparkling and dessert wines in the cellar. A team of skilled employees works tirelessly to ensure best wines are sent out to the market and their dedication has been rewarded by multiple awards their wines have collected over the years. Experience a visit to the Colutta Winery to taste their wines as well as to learn about the process of winemaking in an environment-friendly manner. The estate offers guided tours, wine and food tastings, educational courses and they also have the possibility to host guests in their apartments for a full winery experience. Book your visit to experience Colutta Wines.
