Azienda Agricola Riccardo Vigna: Heart of Roero
Azienda Agricola Riccardo Vigna is a family-owned winery nestled in the picturesque Roero wine region of Piedmont, Italy. With a deep-rooted passion for winemaking, the winery has cultivated some of the most remarkable vineyards in the area, producing wines that reflect the unique terroir.
The vineyards are strategically planted on sun-drenched hills with steep slopes, allowing for meticulous manual cultivation. This dedication to detail ensures the production of exceptional wines.
Commitment to Organic Farming
Since 1997, Azienda Agricola Riccardo Vigna has embraced organic farming practices, honoring both the land and the wine enthusiast. The Bricco San Bartolomeo vineyard, rich in Roero's history, is the cornerstone of their acclaimed wines. The estate produces a variety of organic wines, including Barbera d’Alba DOC Organic, Roero DOCG Organic, Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC Biologico, and Roero Arneis DOC Organic, all celebrated for their quality and character.
Ecological Harmony in Honey Production
In addition to wine, Azienda Agricola Riccardo Vigna produces organic honey, adhering to strict beekeeping regulations. The honey varieties include acacia, chestnut, and forest honeydew. In mid-June, the hives are relocated to the scenic Piedmontese alpine valleys of Val Varaita, Val Maira, and Val Chisone, ensuring the bees thrive in a rich environment. The honey offerings include Miele di Acacia, Miele di Castagno, Miele Millefiori di Montagna di Chianale, and Melata di Bosco.
