A long experience in organic farming
The wines produced at the winery have been internationally acknowledged for their high quality, thanks mostly to the Bricco San Bartolomeo vineyard, a place steeped in the history of Roero. Since 1997, Azienda Agricola Riccardo Vigna has used only organic farming methods out of respect for the land and the wine drinker. The estate produces organic wines and honey, which are appreciated across Roero. The territory of Roero provides the perfect environment for the production of excellent wines. The wines produced at Azienda Agricola Riccardo Vigna winery include the Barbera d’alba DOC Organic, the Descrizione Roero DOCG Organic, the Descrizione Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC Biologico, and the Descrizione Roero Arneis DOC Organic.
Working in perfect harmony with an ecological balance
In the production of Azienda Agricola Riccardo Vigna honey, organic bee keeping regulations are followed to produce acacia, chestnut and forest honeydew types of honey. In mid-June when the temperature changes, the hives are moved to the Piedmontese alpine valleys in Val Varaita, Val Maira and Val Chisone. The various honeys that are sold at Azienda Agricola Riccardo Vigna are the Miele di Acacia, the Miele di Castagno, the Miele Millefiori di Montagna di Chianale, and the Melata di Bosco.
