Azienda Agricola Teo Costa is nestled in the picturesque Castellinaldo d’Alba, within the Roero region of Piedmont. With a rich history spanning five generations, the Costa family cultivates approximately 70 hectares of vineyards, boasting around 450,000 vines across the Monferrato, Langhe, and Roero areas. Today, brothers Roberto and Marco Costa manage the winery alongside their parents, while Roberto’s daughter oversees the cellar reception. The Costa family collaborates with dedicated partners who have supported them for many years.

Commitment to Quality and Innovation

Renowned for their innovative approach to winemaking, Azienda Agricola Teo Costa recently received the esteemed Benemeriti Della Viticultura Piemontese award, a testament to their dedication to quality and their deep connection to the land. They were the first winery in Piedmont to produce natural wines without the addition of sulphites, adhering to a sustainable agriculture protocol known as Free Nature. This commitment ensures the health of their wines, the vines, and the surrounding biodiversity.

Diverse Grape Varieties

The vineyards are home to a variety of grapes, including Barbera, Nebbiolo, Arneis, Favorita, Albarossa, Roero, Barbera Passito, Moscato Rosè, Chardonnay, Dolcetto, Bonarda, Barbaresco, and Barolo. The Costa family selects the finest grapes to craft their red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines. Their wines have garnered numerous accolades in prestigious food and wine publications and competitions, including awards in Brussels. All grapes are cultivated on their estate, and the wines are marketed under the brands Selection Teo Costa, Ligabue, and Giobbe, each reflecting the unique characteristics of their terroir.
