Rich Traditions and Winemaking Account of the Marino Family
The Marino family owns the Beppe Marino with a long tradition to the hillside vineyards and the beautiful wine cellar here. The family has a rich history in the Monferrato and Langhe regions of Piedmont. This is evident from the vineyards, winery, and the big farmhouse run by Beppe Marino along with Rosalba, his wife, and Maurizio, his son. They work hard with love and passion for making the best possible wines that reflect the quality of their rich terroir and continue the rich winemaking tradition of the family.
Sensational Wine Created in a Unesco World Heritage Site
Courage, entrepreneurial attitude, and love for the challenge are the recipes to pass the baton from one generation to the other. The company philosophy is to produce wines while seeking for quality, through the respect of the origins and the surrounding land, now UNESCO World Heritage. Their vineyards are in the hills of Castelnuovo Calcea and Santo Stefano Belbo, where they own 12 hectares in Marini, Momparone, Valdivilla, and Riforno. Dolcetto, Barbera, Brachetto, Moscato, and Chardonnay are grown here to make their red, white, sparkling, dessert, and fortified wines.
Excellent Mixture of Tradition With Modern Technology
Only the best grapes are used by them to make some of the best wines of the Piedmont region. In 2016 Beppe Marino moved its production to the Daughters of San Giuseppe Monastery. This is the place where the nuns have realized a special “Moscato for the Mass,” needed by the priests of all Italy to officiate the liturgical service. The wine is the main thing for the winery that combines their rich traditions with modern winemaking technology.
