Honoring Tradition at Budeguer Winery

Founded in 2005 by Juan José Budeguer, the winery began with vineyards in the fertile areas of Maipú and Agrelo. Juan is dedicated to preserving the Budeguer family’s winemaking traditions while crafting wines that showcase the essence of Mendoza. Today, he runs the winery alongside his wife and three children—Celia, Luis, and Sebastián. Their portfolio includes award-winning red, white, and rosé wines, as well as sparkling varieties.

The unique terroir of Mendoza supports a variety of grapes, including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. Fantastic trip to Budequer today - Mauro was extremely knowledgable and provided a great tour of the facility and vineyards despite the 40 degree heat!! Wine was also superb! Would definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful vineyard.

A very impressive tour. The winery and vines are still young, but of high quality. A lot of investment is made here and nothing is left to chance. In a few years it will certainly catch up with the big names and will no longer be an (affordable) insider tip.

We loved our tasting at this winery. Beautiful, state of the art facility. Mauro spent over an hour with us on a tour of this beautiful winery. We got to choose the 5 wines we wanted to taste which we did in a tasting room upstairs with a great view! Excellent wines! Excellent experience.

Excellent wine cellar and tasting service. It is much more personalized and they separate the groups by language, which makes it more dynamic. Very good wines and small snacks. I would go back without hesitation.
