Honoring Tradition at Budeguer Winery
Founded in 2005 by Juan José Budeguer, the winery began with vineyards in the fertile areas of Maipú and Agrelo. Juan is dedicated to preserving the Budeguer family’s winemaking traditions while crafting wines that showcase the essence of Mendoza. Today, he runs the winery alongside his wife and three children—Celia, Luis, and Sebastián. Their portfolio includes award-winning red, white, and rosé wines, as well as sparkling varieties.
Diverse Grape Varieties at Budeguer Winery
The unique terroir of Mendoza supports a variety of grapes, including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. The winery also cultivates high-quality Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, contributing to its reputation for world-class vintages. A well-maintained trellis system and efficient irrigation ensure the grapes reach optimal quality. After careful manual harvesting, the selected grapes are fermented in French and American oak barrels for proper maturation and refinement.
