Located in a renowned town in Castilla y León, Bodegas Fuentenarro is dedicated to producing high-quality wines from their own vineyards.

The History of Bodegas Fuentenarro

Bodegas Fuentenarro has a rich history that spans 90 years. Just as fine wine improves with age, this winery has honed its craft over nearly a century. Established in 2002, Bodegas Fuentenarro is the culmination of decades of hard work, dedication, and a passion for winemaking. The founders cultivated new vineyards, nurtured their vines, and carefully selected the best grape varieties, all while honoring the dreams of their ancestors.

Vineyard Practices at Bodegas Fuentenarro

At Bodegas Fuentenarro, quality begins in the vineyards. The region's climate features hot, dry summers and long, cold winters with minimal rainfall, creating ideal conditions for grape growing. Situated at elevations between 812 and 860 meters, the vineyards benefit from unique soil compositions of silty and clay textures. Here, the Tempranillo grape thrives, producing rich and flavorful fruit. This area is recognized for its exceptional suitability for Tempranillo, contributing to the winery's outstanding wines.

Optimal Conditions in the Cellars

The underground cellars of Bodegas Fuentenarro are designed to provide the best environment for aging wines. Located 8 meters below ground, these cellars maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, essential for quality wine production. The winery uses both French and American oak barrels to age its finest selections, ensuring that each bottle reflects the dedication and expertise of the winemaking team.

Excellent. The owner, Mr. Pedro, showed us the winery, very attentive and friendly, with all kinds of explanations, step by step its production. The masterful treatment. And what we were looking for was a family winery tired of big brands and little love. The spectacular reserve. At home I will try the essences. Highly recommended. Thank you

We visited this winery last August, they treated us wonderfully, with an intense and interesting explanation about their vineyards, production and winery...then a tasting of one of their wines, very good by the way. Your wines will remain in my personal collection forever...thank you.

I didn't know the Fuentenarro wines, they treated us very well, we visited the winery and at the end of the visit we tried the wines, we loved them, so we stocked up on Fuentenaro for our house. They also serve at home. Very interesting price and quality. Advisable!!!

Very good wine. I buy it whenever I can because Antonio (a family friend) is a great person and very attentive to details. It is a pleasure to taste his wine.
