Castillo del Buen Amor (Castle of Good Love) is a timeless refuge where history whispers through every stone and the serene beauty of nature embraces every visitor. Both medieval fortress and Renaissance palace, it rises among vineyards as a sanctuary of calm, romance, and authenticity. Here, the past is felt with emotion and the present is enjoyed without haste: golden sunrises, star-filled nights, corners that invite you to dream, and experiences that awaken the senses. It is a place that inspires, that welcomes, and that transforms, reminding us that true magic lies in returning to what is essential.

The winery of the Castle is the oenological soul of this historic sanctuary: a project born from deep respect for the land and the desire to craft wines of character—honest, expressive, and full of nuance. Within the centuries-old walls of the castle and the vineyards that surround it, limited-production wines are created that embody the identity of the region and the elegance of artisanal winemaking. Each bottle carries a dialogue between tradition and innovation, inviting visitors to discover the essence of the place through aromas, textures, and emotions that could only arise from such a unique setting.

Simply the best place I've stayed. A castle hotel, nature, service. Very good.

We stopped over for one night on our wedding anniversary and had dinner at the castle restaurant. A lovely experience. The fact that we could freely explore almost all areas of the castle was particularly noteworthy! Highly recommended, even with children. Everything is very impressive. The castle has been brilliantly restored in keeping with its original style!

The castle is impressive and highly recommended for a visit, especially if you go there for lunch or a drink if the café is open. It's well worth discovering such a beautiful spot less than half an hour from Salamanca or Zamora. The restoration to adapt it into a hotel has been done well, although accessibility has been compromised. This has been mentioned in other reviews, and not just for wheelchairs, but also for the elderly, strollers, or simply difficulty carrying luggage. Those planning to eat there should also be aware of these same issues. The rooms are large and adequate, with different types available. We stayed in a standard room: quite large and spacious, but with minor maintenance and cleaning problems. The Wi-Fi signal was also weak, and although we were told it was a one-off problem, we later saw that it's a recurring complaint and they don't seem to be doing much to fix it. (We understand that it's an isolated location with thick walls, but that hasn't been an obstacle in other similar establishments). The restaurant is quite good, and I would recommend it. The staff is also very attentive, and their effort is appreciated, as they were sometimes clearly overwhelmed (another common theme in the reviews). Highly recommended overall, but be prepared to get what you're getting into.

Spectacular from every angle. The castle is a marvel, meticulously maintained; I've never seen anything like it. I would especially like to highlight the staff, from those who worked at reception these past three days to the bar and restaurant waitresses, all working with a smile and impeccable manners. We highly recommend the wine tasting; Yolanda, who leads it, is wonderful, very professional, and we had a fantastic time. It's not very common these days to find such professionalism. An experience we will undoubtedly repeat and recommend. Congratulations to the owners of Castillo del Buen Amor for having such a fantastic team! My partner and I stayed one night in a Medieval Suite. The room is incredible; it's like stepping into a fairytale. The bed is very comfortable, and we had plenty of amenities. The bathtub and shower were very spacious. Maria at reception was outstanding: very attentive and friendly at all times. We had dinner in one of the dining rooms; the food was excellent, as was the service from the waiter. The breakfast had a great variety, and everything was delicious. Thanks also to Belén from the sales department for her attention and constant smile. We will definitely be back!

We stayed one night and absolutely loved the castle. The rooms were simple yet spacious, with a huge and incredibly comfortable bed. The different areas of the castle are beautifully decorated and very inviting, perfect for enjoying a coffee or sampling one of the dishes from the café menu, which offered excellent quality food and wine. The staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Visited on a romantic weekend. A beautiful castle, well-maintained, welcoming, and above all, peaceful. Secluded from everything, a place to disconnect and relax, without relying on mobile data and other such things. Spacious, well-lit, clean, and well-run. Reception staff, waiters, cleaning staff, etc., all excellent. The rooms are unique, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom, while adapted to the building's structure, might seem a bit awkward. A pleasant experience and highly recommended.
