Quality Spanish Wines from Castilla-La Mancha
A Family Legacy in Winemaking
Bodegas Navarro López is nestled in the picturesque Valdepeñas region of Spain. Established in 1904 by Don Juan Sanchez Megia, this family-run winery has maintained its charm through generations. In 1998, Navarro Doroteo Donado took the helm, shifting the winery's focus to producing high-quality aged wines from single grape varieties.
A Rich History of Innovation
In 2001, the winery relocated to a site that aligns with its commitment to environmental sustainability. By 2002, Bodegas Navarro López began crafting wines under the ‘Tierra de Castilla’ designation, and in 2006, it expanded its offerings to include wines from renowned regions such as DOC Rioja, Ribera del Duero, and Rueda. This strategic move aimed to position the winery as a notable player in the global wine market.
The winery's unique location allows for the immediate processing of grapes after harvest, ensuring the highest quality in every bottle.
Exceptional Wines from Valdepeñas
Bodegas Navarro López prides itself on selecting only the finest grapes, with a processing capacity of around 7 million liters, which continues to grow. The winery produces a diverse range of wines, including those from DOC Valdepeñas, DOC Rioja, DOC Ribera del Duero, DOC Rueda, DOC Toro, DOC Rias Baixas, DOC Mancha, and DOC Cava. Additionally, they offer Espumosos y Frizzantes, IGP Vines de la Tierra de Castilla, and Sangria y Tinto de verano.
