Authentic Wines without Filters of Ca d’Michel Winery

The Ca d’Michel winery is located in Cossano Belbo of the Piedmont region. The wines produced at this winery reflect the peasant world of the Langhe region. The family run boutique winery is on a mission to produce products that purely represent the characteristics of its territory. For this reason, they produce limited but finest wines that are full of passion. They are not stirred by the market demand, rather they stick to their deep-rooted traditional method of winemaking to produce authentic wines.

Winery of Piedmont Region

The Piedmont region is located in the foothills of the Alps, bordered by France and Switzerland. Due to the rain shadow effect of the Alps, the Piedmont wine area enjoys a colder, continental winter climate with much reduced rainfall. These conditions are suitable to grow grape varieties such as Moscato d’Asti, Dolcetto d'Alba and Langhe Favorita. These grapes are used to make wines at Ca d’Michel.

Typical Products to Satisfy Customers Palate

The Ca d’Michel wines are produced in a homely countryside house that remains uncontaminated by modernity. This peasant style house uses traditional methods to produce wines but employs sophisticated equipment for bottling and processing. The typical wines and other products of Ca d’Michel are produced to satisfy the palates of most demanding customers.

Had a tasting this morning at DIY small but nice winery! Received by the very friendly hostess Samantha. Even though we were the only 2 guests, everything was ready for us. Visited Saturday 09/11/2024 with some friends. Samantha is a true hostess. A fantastic experience, I started out a little skeptical, I had to change my mind BIG. An extraordinary family-run company, products of absolute excellence, and a friendliness now unavailable, this demonstrates the treasures that can be found beyond the usual super-commercial and advertised routes. Among other things, the discovery of the importance of muscat grapes on a global level. The food was delicious and plentiful and represents an area I didn't know about....... thank you with all my heart. p.s. you can't help but buy their wines....... albert

Higher up the hill, you can find this small vineyard. For a good price you can taste various wines, which were all delicious! The friendly host Samantha made sure we had enough meats and cheeses, and other bites. The place was nicely decorated, homely with a nice view of the vineyard. Afterwards we also enjoyed a little walk, as it was located in a beautiful environment. It was just the two of us, but they had a beautiful long table that could host a bigger group, which might be even more fun. If you are in the area, give this a try!

Among the Roero hills, this farm with cellar is young and dynamic, they welcomed us cordially and offered us an interesting tasting itinerary with explanations but without being intrusive: we tasted quality wines and appreciated the price.
