The Ca' di Rajo winery was founded in 2005, building on the foundations laid by the Cecchetto family, who had been producing grapes since 1931, first with grandfather Marino and then with father Bortolo. The company is now led by the third generation of the Cecchetto family, brothers Simone, Alessio, and Fabio. In January 2024, Ca'di Rajo Group Srl was founded, incorporating all of the company's brands to offer Italian and international customers an increasingly market-focused offering and a tailored service that effectively meets their needs.

The flagship of the Ca' di Rajo winery is Raboso Piave, a thoroughbred that is difficult to tame, a unique wine and one of the most typical of the Piave DOC, which since 2012 has been forged into the new Malanotte del Piave DOCG.

Raboso Piave is an almost extreme wine and perhaps for this reason it is left aside, because it intimidates with its strong and angry nature.

Another native grape variety is Manzoni Bianco 6.0.13, which finds the Piave basin a suitable soil for its development, just as its creator intended: Professor Luigi Manzoni, researcher and luminary for over 60 years at the Conegliano School of Oenology.

The fertile lands of the Ca' di Rajo company also produce Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

We visited Ca' Di Rajo for a guided tour and were pleased to be assisted by Renza and Mrs. Sandra. It was a delightful experience. We took a short tour of the facilities, then visited the small church and the tower dating back to 1300. After a tasting of various wines, full of flavor and different aromas, we also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Marino, the founder of the winery. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.

It was a very interesting and enriching experience to discover the world of Ca di Rajo, to immerse ourselves in the historic vineyards, and to be enchanted by the local legends. This allowed us to fully appreciate and understand the wines they offer. The staff were friendly and helpful, even with special dietary requirements.

I booked the experience with a visit to the cellar and wine tasting at this estate through Smartbox. Once we arrived, everything was very well cared for, both externally and internally. We initially visited the external and internal cellar in all its parts with the excellent explanation of the girl who followed us. At the end, in a dedicated room, we were able to taste four types of wine accompanied with food. It was truly an excellent experience so much so that the next day we decided to return for the event with music and drinks and food, which takes place right inside the vineyard adjacent to the structure. Very beautiful and evocative, I hope to return soon. There is obviously the possibility for those who want to buy their products.

Beautiful location amidst a grapevine arbor. Pretty women stroll around. Excellent wine. Superb aperitif. Come every Sunday, it's worth it. Top-notch.

Today I attended a wine tasting at the Ca' di Rajo winery. It was an interesting and captivating tour: Giulia, our guide, took us on an enriching cultural journey, from the vines to the bottling plant, past autoclaves and barriques. The tasting included a very interesting selection of wines, accompanied by detailed explanations and excellent food. I particularly enjoyed the history intertwined with traditional customs and the stylishly designed labels, rich in allusions.

A truly first-class winery! Rare, indigenous wines, masterfully crafted from grapes using the Bellussera method. I highly recommend, among others, the various barrel-aged Rabosos, the fantastic white Marzemina, the Sauvignon Blanc, and the Manzoni Rosé 💯, as well as, to top it all off, an exceptional French Champagne ❤️
