Located at an impressive 800 meters above sea level, Cantina Castelsimoni spans approximately 2 hectares within the stunning Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park in L'Aquila. This unique elevation allows for the cultivation of exceptional grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Aromatic Traminer, Rhine Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. The winery prioritizes natural processes, using only sulfur and copper in the vineyard, avoiding irrigation and synthetic fertilizers, and employing indigenous yeasts in the cellar without filtration.

Castelsimoni’s Philosophy

At the core of Castelsimoni's philosophy is a deep respect for the environment and natural cycles. The winery refrains from using invasive chemicals in the vineyard and avoids selected yeasts, filtration, and synthetic products in the cellar.
